Finance: More control, less manual effort

Service Update 10.0.44 enhances process automation, traceability, and flexibility in financial accounting – with a focus on closings, fixed assets, and prepayment invoicing.

General Ledger & Closing: A new page helps identify missing settlement accounts, allowing potential posting errors to be detected early. In addition, a new batch process monitors whether the year-end job is running as expected or has stalled.

Accounts Receivable & Credit Management: A new function allows prepayment invoices to be created directly from customer invoices, offering more flexibility in handling advance payments. Interest calculations have also been extended to include project and general journals.

Cash and Bank Management: Foreign currency revaluation is now fully automated, saving time and reducing the risk of errors. New filters in the bank transactions view provide faster access and better clarity. Payment priorities in accounts payable can now be configured to control settlement logic more precisely.

Fixed Assets: The interaction between inventory and fixed assets has been further improved: adjustments from inventory closing can now be posted automatically to the fixed asset module. Journal postings support financial tags, and optimizations in batch and caching processes increase performance – especially for large depreciation runs.

Supply Chain Management: Smarter planning, more targeted control

Update 10.0.44 improves transparency, automation, and efficiency in the supply chain – with targeted enhancements in procurement, quality, and production.

Procurement & Sourcing: The new Supplier Communications Agent (Preview) automates follow-up processes like email reminders and status requests to vendors. This simplifies and accelerates common procure-to-pay workflows.

Quality Management: The preview of the expanded quality management module introduces long-awaited features such as electronic signatures, approved customer lists, individualized inspection instructions, and dispense handling. Particularly notable are the new CAPA processes (Corrective and Preventive Actions) for systematic root cause analysis and follow-up actions, as well as skip-lot logic, which allows inspection lots to be skipped when quality is consistently high. These additions significantly increase the module’s maturity – especially for organizations with strict compliance requirements or highly automated inspection workflows.

Production & Inventory Management: Production floor interfaces can now be enhanced with color themes for better visual clarity. Material availability checks have been expanded to identify shortages across demand points. The ATP logic now considers disposition codes and expiry dates. For maintenance, the system alerts users when credit limits are at risk of being exceeded.
