Future topics for European commerce at the x4in summit 2025

On May 22, 2025, this year’s x4in summit took place in Prague – bringing together more than 90 decision-makers from retail, industry, technology, and politics. The focus: current challenges for European commerce, including global competitiveness, digital transformation, the use of AI, and the importance of trust in uncertain times.

Contributions came from

Bernd Lange (European Parliament), Tomáš Havryluk (Medevio), Dr. Nicole Grünewald (Cologne Chamber of Commerce), Sebastian Weber (Takko Fashion), Pablo de Ayala (Pepco Group), and Jon Stine (Honeycomb Retail AI).
The panel discussion was enriched by additional perspectives from Rudolf Scharping (RSBK AG) and Christian Calabro (xalution Switzerland).
Wolfgang Lux served as moderator throughout the day.

Alongside the content-focused agenda, the summit also provided space for personal exchange – with an exclusive tour of the German Embassy, rooftop networking overlooking Prague, and a joint dinner at Brick’s.
