Unsere Entwicklerin Zoia hat die Corona-Zeit genutzt, um ein bisschen aufzur\u00e4umen \u2013 n\u00e4mlich in Ablagen wie AX-D365\/Documents\/BP (Best Practise). Und machte dabei eine Entdeckung: Die \u00e4lteren darin abgelegten Dokumente waren durchweg k\u00fcrzer als Dokumente neueren Datums. Der Grund: die Leitf\u00e4den f\u00fcr Entwickler zur Anpassung von MS L\u00f6sungen an kundenspezifische Anforderungen waren zunehmend detailliert geworden. Vorteil f\u00fcr unsere Kunden: Customizing-Regeln sind mittlerweile deutlich klarer geworden \u2013 was die Qualit\u00e4t der Softwareentwicklung deutlich verbessert.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unz\u00e4hlige Dokumente hatten sich \u00fcber 14 Jahre hinweg in dem f\u00fcr jeden Microsoft Dynamics Anwender zug\u00e4nglichen Ordner AX-D365\/Documents\/BP angesammelt. Dieser enth\u00e4lt eine Sammlung von Best Practise Beschreibungen bzw. Leitf\u00e4den zu unterschiedlichsten Entwicklungsprojekten im Umfeld von Microsoft Dynamics.<\/p>\n

Beim Sortieren nach Erstellungsdatum stellte sich heraus: je \u00e4lter das Dokument, desto k\u00fcrzer war es. Die Suche nach der Ursache daf\u00fcr ergab schnell: die Regeln, die Microsoft f\u00fcr Entwicklungsarbeiten bzw. Customizing im Zusammenhang mit seinen Produkten aufstellt, waren im Laufe der Zeit zunehmend komplex geworden \u2013 L\u00f6sungsans\u00e4tze wurden folglich zunehmend detailliert beschrieben.<\/p>\n

Beispiel: Leitfaden zu Microsoft Dynamics 365<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ein gutes Beispiel daf\u00fcr ist das Regelwerk zu Microsoft Dynamics 365 \u2013 eine umfangreiche Microsoft-ERP L\u00f6sung. Erster Schreck beim \u00d6ffnen: Das Dokument umfasst volle 52 Seiten mit 17 Kapiteln. Genau das aber hat f\u00fcr den Entwickler seine Vorteile, denn dank des tiefgehenden Detaillierungsgrads wei\u00df er nun genau, was er zu tun hat.<\/p>\n

Die wichtigsten Inhalte im Kurz\u00fcberblick:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Alles \u00fcber Task Tracker: Standardworkflows, Diagramme mit Rollen und Status, etc.<\/li>\n
  2. Entwicklungsumgebung: Links, Einrichten, How to\u2019s, etc.<\/li>\n
  3. Entwicklungsregeln: Benennung (alle Objekte), Beschriftungen, Versionskontrolle. Hinweise f\u00fcr nicht standardm\u00e4\u00dfige F\u00e4lle, u.v.m<\/li>\n
  4. Informationen \u00fcber alle Umgebungen und Standardprozesse der Freigabe und Bereitstellung (Code\/Modelle\/Datenbanken\/etc.)<\/li>\n
  5. Debuggen in einer anderen Entwicklungsumgebung.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    How-To-Anleitungen f\u00fcr weniger erfahrene Entwickler: Empfehlungen, wichtige Lifehacks, m\u00f6gliche Fehler, etc.<\/p>\n

    Fazit: Ein \u00fcberaus n\u00fctzliches Dokument, das fast alle Szenarien abdeckt und verhindert, dass Leiter von Entwicklerteams immer wieder durch einfach zu l\u00f6sende Fragestellungen seitens weniger erfahrenden Teammitglieder von wichtigeren Aufgaben abgehalten werden.<\/p>\n
